If you have tried lately to contact one of the many service companies upon which we rely, then you will understand the Saturday Night Live video in this post. You will laugh, but you will also cringe as it comes close to a personal experience you may have suffered recently.
We all know that the pandemic has caused people to drop out of the labor force and that fewer people, often with less expertise or experience in the job, have taken their place. Hopefully, these companies will be able to hire back people and also provide training to their new employees. In the meantime, remember that wonderful adage, PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE!

I still laughed hysterically even though I saw it when it was on Saturday night Live
It is oh so true
I really compliment someone when I actually talk with a real person and they are helpful
Good morning – your article certainly hits home, as I feel that there is absolutely no Customer Service left – you are asked to leave a message, and are very lucky if you ever get a return call – so thanks for your article. Happy New Year. Ursula K.
That was painfully accurate and oh so funny! Thank you for the morning chuckle!
Hysterical, Dinah. I find American Express Platinum customer service great. A platinum card only costs $450 a year. Haha. I wonder how much the annual fee would be if they didn’t ask me to do a survey every time I have contact with them?
