Do you recall the anticipation and excitement of your 5th birthday? How did this differ from your 40th or your 70th? While aging happens as long as we live, there is nothing stopping us from engaging in ways of thinking and acting that will keep us happy and content. Some of the ideas in the following presentation may appeal to you, or at least bring a smile to your face.
Our thanks to Olivia Cavaluzzi for passing this along to us, to share with you.
Growing Older, with Stunning Photos
Many thanks for sharing, not only the beautiful pictures, but the sayings, which are so true. I am keeping this one. Have a great day. Ursula
Hi Ursula,
I’m so happy that this was a keeper! There is so much information out there and when we can relate to something that makes sense to us, that can make us a little stronger, or a little more satisfied with our lives, I say that’s a WIN. Take care, Dinah
Stunning photos and mesaage . However, I have always enjoyed adding the fractions to my age, be it 4 1/2 or 81 2/3 (current age).
Aging has been, for the most part, enjoyable and hopefully continues to be my experience.
Hi Gretchen,
Thanks for sharing that you enjoy using fractions when stating your age. I’m going to try this in the future as it also will require that I do the math each time, and we all know how great that is for our brains!
Wishing you well, Dinah
What spectacular photos and meaningful words to start a day with. I’m keeping this one.
Hi Sandra,
I’m so glad you like this one and appreciate your letting me know. Going through the life cycle definitely has its ups and downs. It’s good to be able to tune into the wisdom of those who are willing to share it with us. Be well,
Dinah
Stunning photos and wise words….. Love this. So, onward I go to another day where I get to be 68 and 1/6!!!
Hi Jo,
Interestingly, I received another reply, from Gretchen, who also states her age with a fraction at the end. To both of you, thanks for the great idea.
