For a wild animal to lose its freedom must be a devastating experience, regardless of the circumstances that force it into captivity. Some animals have been injured and are nurtured back to health, others lose their mothers as babies, and others are dying of malnutrition or disease. The wonderful organizations and individuals who take on the rehabilitation of wild animals are on a special path. If possible, they try to bring the animal to a point where it can reunite with those of its own kind. This video captures the moment when the cage door is open and they begin their life anew as free animals.
