Believing in Yourself Helps at Any Age.. Touching the Sky

We are grateful to Cheryl Greene  for sending us  the first video, and to Ron Haffling for the second one. It struck me that in both of these, there are  patterns of thinking that can  make aging more or less successful, not to mention more or less interesting and fun.

When you test your limits by trying new things, you discover the possibilities. Enjoy the process. If you are successful, bravo. If you aren’t, you need to be able to laugh when it doesn’t work out. Then set a new goal,  perhaps using knowledge gained from your last experience.

Never be daunted by the difficulty of a challenge or the skepticism of friends. The 102 year old man in this video believed he could build and fly a helicopter. See for yourself how it worked out.
